DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (4-4-2 overall, 0-1-1 Atlantic 10) continues conference action at home this Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. vs. VCU (7-2-0 overall, 2-0-0 A-10) and Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. vs. Saint Joseph's (6-3-2, 1-1-0 A-10). Both matches are at Baujan Field and admission is free.
• The matches will be broadcast on ESPN+. Alex Mikos and Ian Richardson will have the call on the VCU match. Flyer TV will call the SJU match.
VCU PROMOTIONS
• The hazing prevention committee is hosting a BBQ which will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. in the parking lot by Baujan Field.

THE SERIES vs. VCU
• Dayton is 3-2-3 all-time vs. VCU.
• The last time these two teams met was Sept. 21, 2017 in Richmond, Va. and the result was a 0-0 tie after double overtime.
Kaelyn Johns had 10 saves in that match.
• Dayton is 1-1-2 vs. the Rams when playing them at Baujan.
• The last Flyer win was on Nov. 7, 2014 when UD won 3-0 in the A-10 semifinals at Baujan Field. The Flyers went on to win the championship that year with a 2-1 victory over La Salle in the final.

• Dayton is 16-3-1 all-time vs. Saint Joseph's.
• The last meeting was a 4-2 Flyer loss on the road to the Hawks on Oct. 8, 2017.

• Sophomore Samantha Jerabek is tied as the lead goal-scorer in the A-10 conference with seven finishes. She was named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week after her performances against St. Bonaventure and George Mason.

• The Rams have two common opponents with the Flyers this season: William & Mary - Dayton defeated the Tribe 2-1 in overtime and VCU won 1-0, and George Mason - Dayton lost to the Patriots 2-1 and VCU defeated Mason 3-1.

• Saint Joseph's is 6-3-2 overall and 1-1-0 in the A-10. Their lone A-10 loss was a 2-0 setback at Saint Louis, but the Hawks defeated A-10 defending champion La Salle 2-1. The Hawks are currently ranked No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll.
• Hannah Racis and Aleksa Peev lead the Hawks in goals scored with three each.
• Paige Bergman leads SJU with three assists.
• Grace Bendon has 39 saves and a 1.05 GAA.
