LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Dayton track and field team opened its 2019 season at the University of Kentucky Jim Green Invitational this weekend. The Flyers had 23 personal records set in their first meet of the year.
 
Highlights
•    Sophomore Corey Rinella's mark of 5.34m in the long jump is the fifth-best all-time at UD.
•    Sophomore Gabbie Johnson had a PR of 25.52 in the 200m dash, which is fifth all-time at Dayton.
•    Seniors Taylor Vernot and Emily Borchers were fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 3000m run.
•    In all, there were 23 Flyer PRs at the Jim Green Invitational.
