Richmond, KY – The Flyers came out strong in the first two rounds of the Colonel Classic. Led by a strong performance from Ellie Cronin, Dayton currently sits in fifth place. After two rounds, the team sits with an overall score of 605 (+29). The team is currently 21 strokes behind Eastern Kentucky, who currently sits in first. Ellie Cronin had an incredible first two rounds. She currently sits in 4^th in the field. The Flyers are ready to carry the momentum from today into the final round.  
 
The course, the University Club at Arlington, is a 5,885-yard course. The par is 72.

 "Going into today I had the feeling we were about to turn the corner as a team. We've been striking the ball so well and our mechanics so solid, if we got a few putts to fall, we could be in the mix with really strong teams. The team was so excited for Ellie's second 69 this year the team chemistry evident. Abby Bitto turned her day around with a one over par second round, Alexa Amato and Sarah Frazier solid and ready to knock a few strokes off tomorrow. A great day for the team." said Head Coach Sally Kosters.
