DAYTON – University of Dayton men's basketball has announced game times for its non-conference schedule.  After the Flyers' exhibition game with Cedarville on Nov. 2 (which will start at 5 p.m.ET), all regular season home games will tip-off at 7 p.m. ET.

Dayton's eight non-conference games begin with Indiana State on Nov. 9 and end with North Florida on Dec. 30.  In between, UD will host Charleston Southern (Nov. 16), Omaha (Nov. 19), Houston Baptist (Dec. 3), Drake (Dec. 14), North Texas (Dec. 17) and Grambling (Dec. 23).

The Flyers will also play in three neutral site events.  Game time for UD's first game at the Maui Jim Maui Invitational against Georgia is 2:30 p.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 25.

Game times and television for the other two neutral events were announced this week.  Dayton will play Saint Mary's in Phoenix in the Air Force Reserve Jerry Colangelo Classic on Dec. 8.  That game will tip at 4 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on ESPNU.  The Flyers will face Colorado in their second appearance in the Chicago Legends on Dec. 21.  The CBS Sports Network will carry game, and it will start at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Dayton was 21-12 and reached the NIT in Anthony Grant's second season as the Dayton head coach. UD was third in the Atlantic 10 Conference with a 13-5 record.  Dayton was second in the nation as a team in field goal percentage (.504, 902 of 1789).  That was also the best single-season FG% in school history.

The Flyers return three starters and will add five veteran redshirts in 2019-20.   Included in the starters are All-Atlantic 10 performers Obi Toppin (2019 Rookie of the Year and First Team All-A-10), and junior guard Jalen Crutcher (Third Team All-A-10).  Also returning are 2018-19 co-captains Trey Landers and Ryan Mikesell.
