DAYTON -- The University of Dayton Flyers will close the regular season and honor seniors
Trey Landers and
Ryan Mikesell Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET when George Washington comes to visit UD Arena. UD is 28-2 overall and 17-0 in the A-10. Dayton is tied with New Mexico State for the nation's longest win streak at 19. UD is the 2020 Atlantic 10 regular season champions and finished the season undefeated on the road after Wednesday's 84-57 win at Rhode island.
Dayton is off to its best start ever at UD at 28-2, (previously 23-2) with both losses in OT to Top 20-caliber teams -- Kansas in the Maui Invitational finals and Colorado in a buzzer-beater at the Chicago Legends. UD is third in both the AP and USA Today Coaches polls.
The game will be carried by WHIO Radio, televised by Spectrum News 1 and streamed on ESPN+. Streaming audio, video and stats will be available at DaytonFlyers.com.
THE TRANSFORMED UD ARENA
The University of Dayton has completed a three-year, $76.2 million transformation project of UD Arena in time for the Arena's 50th anniversary season. The project transformed the 50-year-old facility into a state-of-the-art venue. The upgrade, the largest construction project in University history, modernizes the Arena without losing the "soul of the bowl" – the atmosphere that has made UD Arena one of the best places to watch college basketball.

Dayton's No. 3 ranking is its highest since the Flyers were ranked third in the last four polls of the 1955-56 season. UD has been ranked in the Top 20 for 14 consecutive weeks this year.

Obi Toppin is the only player in Division I who is averaging 19 ppg and 7 rpg, with 62% FG%.
• He is also the only player in the A-10 Top 10 in FG% (1st) and 3-pt. FG% (6th).
• Toppin had his 100th career dunk during the Virginia Tech game in Maui, which was just his 20th start and 38th career game. He now has 184 in 63 games, the Dayton career record.
• The Brooklyn native was the eighth-fastest Flyer to reach 1,000 points.

Jalen Crutcher college basketball's "Best Supporting Actor" during CBS Sports' college basketball studio coverage on Jan. 25. In Atlantic 10 Conference games, he is the only player in the top seven of the guard-oriented stat categories -- scoring (9th), assists (6th), 3-pt. FG's (T-6th), 3-pt % (5th), FT% (2nd) and A/T ratio (2nd).
• UD is first nationally in FG% (.526, 848-1612) and is fourth in assists (17.6).
• Seven different Flyers have scored in double figures this season. Six have led UD in scoring.
• Dayton tied the A-10 single-game FG% record (.723, 34-47) in the Davidson win.
