Anthony Grant announced today that
Chase Johnson will return to the Flyer active roster for the upcoming 2020-21 season.
Johnson was diagnosed with post-concussive stress syndrome and took a medical leave of absence to focus on his health during the second semester of last year.
"We are happy that Chase is returning to campus for the 2020-21 academic year," Grant said. "He is excited to return and looks forward to rejoining his teammates."
A 6-foot-9, 219-pound forward from Ripley, W. Va., Johnson will be a redshirt junior in 2020-21. Last year, he played in eight games with one start. He averaged 5.1 points and 2.8 rebounds while playing in 11.1 minutes a game. He made 19 of his 24 field goal attempts (.794).
