Rowing's Spring 2021 Events Are Scheduled

The Flyers Have Four Races On The 2021 Spring Docket

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing schedule has been announced for 2021.

The 2021 spring schedule includes four events:
  • Sunday, April 11 at Eastern Michigan
  • Sunday, April 25 at the George Mason Invitational in Fairfax, Va.
  • Saturday, May 1 at Duquesne in Pittsburgh, Pa.
  • Saturday, May 15 at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship in Pennsauken, N.J.

"The team has been training on their own since the Thanksgiving break. In short, we are excited to get back in boats on the water," said head coach Mike Wenker. "The team missed out on a spring season last year; after a promising winter of training on the rowing machines and many reps in the weight room.

"I am excited to have Trish Miles working with the novice group this spring," added Wenker. "With some patience and hard work, the team has a chance to race this spring."

Please note that all races are subject to change as programs continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Scheduled athletic events are contingent on recommendations from the CDC, state, local public health, and university officials.
