STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The University of Dayton men's golf team came in eighth place at the 44th Annual Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State. The 54-hole event was played on the Blue Course at Penn State Golf Course at par 71 and 7,219 yards. Flyer sophomore
Kyle Schmidt paced the Flyers with his 12th place finish among the field.
Host Penn State claimed top team honors with a three-round score of 288-287-277=852 (E) while Loyola (Md.)'s Evan Brown claimed first place in individual standings with his score of 71-65-66=202 (-11).
