COLUMBUS, Ohio - The University of Dayton men's golf team finished play at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate Sunday evening. The 54-hole event hosted by Ohio State was played on the Scarlet Course at OSU Golf Course at par 71 and 7,455 yards on April 24-25.
No. 8 Illinois claimed the team title with its three-round score of 286-281-292=859 (+7) while Kent State's Cade Breitenstine earned medalist honors with his three-under-par score of 68-70-72=210. As a team, Dayton finished in 17th place with a score of 303-306-301=910 (+58) and sophomore
Kyle Schmidt paced the Flyers with his total of 71-75-72=218 (+5) to finish in 18th place overall.
