Connor Bruce and women's golf freshman 
Sarah O'Connor have been named the 
Ohio's College Advantage Student-Athletes of the Week for contests during the week of April 19-25.
A native of Pittsburgh, Bruce won both his matches against Wayne State last Tuesday, finishing the regular season at 12-4 in individual singles play. He paired with 
Max DeCurtins to win in No. 1 doubles 6-1 before taking the No. 1 singles flight as well in straight sets.
O'Connor, hailing from Beavercreek, Ohio, led the Flyers to a third-place finish at the MAAC Championship April 23-25 after finishing in second place overall among the field of individuals, the highest individual finish at a conference tournament in school history. As the highest-placing freshman, O'Connor was named the MAAC Women's Golf Rookie of the Year in addition to earning All-Conference honors for placing among the top 10.
