May Wraps Play At 2021 #NCAAGolf Noblesville Regional Wednesday

Flyer Freshman First Dayton Men's Golfer To Participate In National Postseason Play

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - University of Dayton freshman men's golfer Henry May cemented his name in the UD record book after competing in the 2021 #NCAAGolf Regional hosted by Ball State at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, Ind. The Edina, Minnesota, native is the first Flyer to participate in the national postseason tournament.

The Sagamore Club, one of six regional sites across the country, is a par-72, 7,173-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature design.

May carded rounds of 76-78-79 for a total of 233 (+17).

He qualified for the Regional after claiming medalist honors at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championship and represented Dayton as an individual at The Sagamore Club. May was also named to the 2021 A-10 All-Conference Team in voting among league head coaches.

The top five teams from each regional, along with the highest finishing individual not associated with one of those teams, will advance to the NCAA Championships to be held May 28-June 2 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
