DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will compete in the Xavier Invitational beginning tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at both the campus of Xavier and nearby Withrow High School in Cincinnati.
 
The Flyers head into the weekend 2-0 after defeating Thomas More 7-0 on Sept. 19.
 
"We are excited to compete in the hidden dual at Xavier this weekend," head coach Erica Echko said. "Xavier, Cincinnati, and Memphis are all very high-level teams so it'll be great practice to get ready for the upcoming spring season."
 
UD has won every singles point possible to this point in the fall, as well as five of six doubles matches.  
 
Xavier and Memphis are each competing for the first time this season on Saturday, while Cincinnati hosted the Pam Whitehead Invitational last weekend, playing Western Kentucky, Bowling Green, and Miami (OH) in the event.
 
In case of inclement weather, the matches will be played at Five Seasons Ohio.
