FAIRFAX STATION, Va. – The University of Dayton women's rowing team competed Sunday against some fellow Atlantic 10 schools at the George Mason Invitational.
The Flyers had strong showings across the board and had another event to prepare them down the home stretch of the season.
"It was a good day of racing," said head coach Mike Wenker. "Each boat learned something between the heats and finals. The team will race at Eastern Michigan next Sunday before the Atlantic 10 Championships on May 14."
Dayton returns to action on Saturday, April 30 at Eastern Michigan.
