Women’s Rowing Announces Spring Schedule

The Flyers Open Up The Season March 18 In Their Home Race

DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing program and head coach Mike Wenker announced the schedule for the 2023 spring campaign.

The Flyers will compete in five regular season events followed by the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championships. Dayton will open the season with a home race on March 18 and wrap-up the spring campaign May 12 in New York.

Here is the spring schedule:
March 18 – Duquesne-Marietta-Purdue – Eastwood Lake – Dayton, Ohio
April 1 – Lubbers Cup – Riverside Park – Grand Rapids, Mich.
April 15-16 – SIRA – Melton Lake – Oak Ridge, Tenn.
April 23 – George Mason Invite – Sandy Run - Fairfax, Va.
April 29 – Eastern Michigan – Ford Lake – Ypsilanti, Mich.
May 12 – Atlantic 10 Championships – Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Dayton had a strong fall season with competitions at Marietta and the Bald Eagle Regatta. The Flyers return a veteran squad that fared well in both the varsity 8+ and varsity 4+ races in spring 2022. This year's team has 11 seniors and high expectations.
