DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis team continues fall action this week at the ITA Regionals in Chattanooga, Tenn., sending seven student-athletes to begin competition Thursday, Oct. 12 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Fifth-year seniors
Connor Bruce and
Matt DeMarco, as well as graduate transfer Nicola Puric, senior
Erik Eliasson, and freshmen
Kyle McNally,
Luis Saraiva and
Mikkel Zinder will compete in singles during the week, while Bruce and Puric as well as DeMarco and McNally will team up to play doubles.

Doubles play starts the event Thursday morning, as both Flyer pairs are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Bruce and Puric will team up to take on University of Southern Indiana's Quinten Gillespie and Dylan Brown, while DeMarco and McNally will take on Peter Kalocsai and Adam Nagoudi from East Tennessee State.

Singles action kicks off at 12 p.m. for the Flyers, as McNally will turn around to take on Marcel Kamrowski of Middle Tennessee State. Puric and Eliasson are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., taking on Arnesh Singh of Butler and Christian Gonzalez of Xavier, respectively.

Bruce starts his singles play with a 2 p.m. against Austin Peay's Giovanni Becchis, and Saraiva is scheduled to begin at 2:30 against Filip Apltauer of Tennessee.

Rounding out the day's action will be Zinder with a 3 p.m. match against Ball State's Vince Orlando, and last to the singles court will be DeMarco in a 4 p.m. showdown with Ruben Busch of Belmont.

64 doubles teams and 128 singles players will compete throughout the week, with play potentially going to Monday, Oct. 16.
