Men's Tennis Adds Skigelstrand to Class of 2024

The Norwegian Joins A Two-Man Class Announced In November

DAYTON – University of Dayton men's tennis head coach Ryan Meyer has announced an additional member of the 2024 recruiting class, signing Sturle Skigelstrand to a National Letter of Intent.

"I'm very excited to add Sturle to the 2024 class," said Meyer. "He has a reputation of not only being a great tennis player but also an incredible person. I felt like he belonged at UD from our very first conversation and am thrilled to have him as part of this class."

Skigelstrand has compiled a 34-28 record in singles on the juniors circuit since the start of the 2021 campaign and has a 14-7 mark in doubles since 2022. He is the second member of the 2024 signing class from Norway, joining fellow countryman Andreas Nygaard in signing with the Flyers.
