EDISON, N.J. - University of Dayton women's golf graduate student
Sarah Frazier has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week. The award was announced by the conference office Wednesday.
Frazier, a Fort Wayne, Indiana, native, paced the team with a second-place finish among a field of 83 competitors at the Lipscomb Lady Bison Bay Point Classic Feb. 5-7. Frazier's first-round score of 71 equaled her season low and she posted the second-lowest scoring average (4.17) on par-four holes among the field. The 54-hole event was played at par 72 and 5,971 yards and Frazier (71-74-79=224 (+8)) was just two strokes behind medalist Laerke Jensen (Charleston Southern).
UP NEXT
#UDWGOLF will head to Cookeville, Tennessee, March 12-14 to compete in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech.
