DAYTON  –Just under 1,700 undergraduates – the most in University of Dayton history –received degrees on Sunday.  Among them were 130 current and former Flyer student-athletes who  graduated with impressive accomplishments in the classroom and in their respective sports, and will continue that excellence in the next steps of their journey.  

In addition, the senior members of the Flyer baseball, softball and track teams will be honored in their own private ceremony on Monday following this weekend's competitions.

Baseball
Keagan Calero – Returning to play for the Flyers again next season
Jay Curtis – Will be joining the UD baseball coaching staff 
Omar Daniels – Will be back to play for Dayton baseball next year
Nate Espelin – Will be pursuing his MBA while continuing his baseball career as a grad transfer
Anthony Hattrup – Returning to the Flyers next season
 Ben Jones – Planning on playing baseball at UD again next year
Mark Manfredi – Graduated Cum Laude in 2022; Returning to play for the Flyers again next season
Jose Martinez – Will be moving back home to Puerto Rico, continuing to play baseball and joining the workforce
Nick Meyer – Has a sports science internship with Driveline in Seattle
Alex Neff – Currently deciding between attending grad school or joining the workforce next year
Marcos Pujols – Looking to play baseball professionally, with plans to work at the MLB offices in the Dominican Republic when his career is over
Ryan Steinhauer – Coming back next year for another season of UD baseball
