DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's soccer team received multiple United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors for their accomplishments this fall.

Joseph Melto Quiah, and sophomore
Martin Bakken received First Team All-Region accolades.
The Flyers are coming off their best season in program history with, reaching as high as No. 5 in the United Soccer Coach poll and No. 2 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings. Dayton won its second-straight Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and was the No. 5 seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, making its first ever trip to the Sweet Sixteen. UD finished the year 14-3-3, the second most wins in program history.
Sigurdsson earned Academic All-America as well as A-10 Defender of the Year and First Team All-Conference with eight goals and seven assists. Melto Quiah led all of Division I with 87 shots and also had eight goals with six assists as well. Bakken had a breakout season with team-highs of nine goals and 10 assists for 28 points in 20 starts. Both him and Melto Quiah joined Sigurdsson on the First Team All-Atlantic 10.
