DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing team will compete on Saturday, March 23 at the Marietta & Adrian regatta.
The event hosted by the Pioneers will be held at the Lindamood-VanVoorhis Boathouse in Marietta, Ohio. The Flyers will also compete against the Bulldogs of Adrian College and the Lakers of Mercyhurst University.
Dayton will have boats competing in the 8+ and 4+ races.
This will be the first competition of the spring since the teams competed at Eastern Michigan and the Bald Eagle Regatta in the fall. Next, they will head to Grand Rapids to compete in the Lubber Cup on Saturday, April 6.
"We are excited to race and see what we are doing well and what we need to work on," said head coach Mike Wenker, who has a veteran squad to work with this year.
