DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing team returns to action this Saturday, April 6 at the 27th annual Lubber's Cup.
The event will take place at Grand Lake in Grand Rapids, Mich. hosted by Grand Valley State. Teams set to attend on the women's side are Brock, Drake, Michigan State, Illinois, Notre Dame, and Northwestern.
Dayton will have boats competing in the 8+ and 4+ races. Heats begin at 10 a.m. with finals starting at 1:30 p.m. The awards ceremony is slated to take place around 3:30 p.m.
The Flyers are coming off their opening regatta of the week against Marietta and Mercyhurst in which Dayton had first-place finishes in both varsity 4+ races and second place in the varsity 8+ event.
