DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's basketball team and head coach
Tamika Williams-Jeter have announced the addition of Eric Muiter to the staff as the new strength & conditioning coach.
"Coaching at the University of Dayton gives me the opportunity to assist student-athletes as they make the transition into adulthood," said Muiter. "To help them achieve their dreams in athletic competition as well as their post-collegiate pursuits. I can think of no better place to do so than an institution that cares so deeply for its students."
Muiter joins the Flyers after spending last year with the Minnesota Timberwolves staff. Prior to that, he had experience with the University of Minnesota, United States Air Force Academy, and Michigan State University.
The Michigan native earned his bachelor of science in kinesiology from Michigan State before earning his Masters of Education in Sport and Exercise Science from Minnesota.
Muiter will focus on programs that implement strength, conditioning, performance and nutrition for the women's basketball team as well as the men's and women's golf teams.
