DAYTON - The University of Dayton men's soccer team will continue its road stint as it travels to Indiana University Monday, Sept. 9 for an 8 p.m. contest at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton returns from the eight-day break with a 3-1 record on the year and will play its first true road game of the season. The Flyers were 2-5-3 on the road last year with much of their success coming at home. UD rides a two-game winning streak after winning the Ohio State Wolstein Classic title last weekend.
Head coach
Dennis Currier is in his 20th year at Dayton and is the winningest coach in program history. He ranks eighth among active Division I coaches in career wins.

Ethan Sassine has a team-high three goals while graduate student
Hjalti Sigurdsson has chipped in two goals and an assist from a defensive position. Grad student goalkeeper
Dario Caetano has played every minute the past three seasons and has one shutout.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
INDIANA
Indiana enters the week with a disappointing 1-1-2 record on the season after being ranked in the Top 10 early on in the season. IU will look to get back on track after a 2023 season in which the Hoosiers won the Big Ten Tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals.
Head coach Todd Yeagley is in his 16th season as a head coach and 15th at Indiana. Since joining the Hoosiers in 2009, he has the most wins and College Cup appearances amongst active coaches, including a 2012 National Championship.
The Hoosiers are matching opposing squads with 1.25 goals per game and narrowly outshooting them 12.8 to 9.5 each outing. Indiana benefits from a higher shots on goal percentage and more corner kicks each game.
The main offensive threat for the Hoosiers is Tommy Mihalic, who ranks 16th in the country with three goals and has an assist as well. Samuel Sarver is the starting striker with 10 shots, half on goal, and an assist in four starts. JT Harms is one of the top keepers in the Big Ten with 12 saves and a shutout already.
