LOUISVILLE, Ky.  - The University of Dayton track and field sent three athletes to compete at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic on Friday. Flyer throwers stepped into the weight throw and shot put circles while Lila Bensenhaver represented UD on the track in both the 800 and the mile.

Highlights

• Jillian Yates and Anna Yater both earned top-five finishes in the weight throw. Yater threw 16.01m to finish second and Yates threw 15.29m to finish fourth.
• Bensenhaver set two new PRs in her events, running 2:27.91 in the 800m and 5:28.28 in the mile.
• Yater and Yates also finished sixth and seventh respectively in the shot put. Yater threw a season-best 12.33m and Yates threw 10.94m to finish the spot behind her.
