DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's tennis team will continue its fall season at the D1 Showdown, hosted by Eastern Kentucky, on Oct. 3-4.
The tournament will feature Bucknell, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky and UNC Asheville. Doubles play will begin at 9 a.m. on both days. Singles play will start at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Set up for doubles play will be team hidden duals with singles matches being made up of three draws. The Maroon and White Draws will be 16-player compass draws with a six-player round robin Colonel Draw.
The Flyers began the fall at the Xavier Invitational on Sept. 20-21, picking up six wins against Ball State, Northern Kentucky and Xavier. Caroline Boyle, Mallory Hitchcock, Haley Klein and Grace Murphy all won in singles action. In doubles, Baby Jordan and Hitchcock and Murphy and Klein defeated doubles from NKU.

UP NEXT
Dayton will take on players from across the region at ITA Regionals, which will take place in Knoxville, Tenn. on Oct. 9-11.
