#UDXC Sophomore Herzog Wins At Wright State

All Three Runners Finish In The Top Seven For The Flyers

FAIRBORN, Ohio.  – Sophomore Jacob Herzog won the Wild Bill Invitational at Wright State University on Friday, tying his PR of 25:44.3. He was one second ahead of the runner-up and an impressive nine seconds in front of the third place finisher. 
 
All three Flyers running finished in the top seven of the 38-man field. Also representing Dayton in Fairborn were Junior James Mroczka and Sophomore Gerrit Dam. Mroczka finished fourth in a time of 26:07.5, and Dam came seventh in a time of 26:25.4.
 
The meet served as the final chance for these athletes to race ahead of the Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend.

UP NEXT
The Flyers will host the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, November 1. The championships will take place at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course at Cedarville University.
