INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Dayton track and field competed Friday and Saturday, at the Midwest Classic inside the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Multiple Flyers recorded personal records and several landed in the Dayton record books.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• Jadyn Haywood continues to shine in 2025. The two-time A-10 Track Performer of the Week took the top spot in the 60m prelim (7.51) on Friday which was good enough for the fourth-best time in school history. The junior recorded a personal best and finished third in the 200m (24.27) final. Haywood would go on to win the 60m final on Saturday in a time of 7.58 to record her second win and third top-two finish in the event this year.
• Charlotte Deines recorded the second-best indoor mark in the long jump (5.69m) at UD. It was a personal record for the first year from Mount Prospect, Illinois. Deines passed Hilary Lang, who jumped 5.62m in 2012.
• Rayana Burns continued her solid season with a personal best in the 60m hurdles (8.88), which was the fifth-best time in Dayton history.
• Other personal records included all three 5,000m runners Bryn Hothem, Olivia Kindbom and Anna Newkirk. Sophia Goluba set a personal record in 60m hurdles, Anna Yater (weight throw), Camryn Thompson (high jump), and Raegan Ernst (200m).
• Cara Mooney set a new PR in the mile of 5:01.63, the fastest time by a Dayton miler this season.
• Mia Gill took almost four seconds off of her PR in the 800m, finishing with a time of 2:17.87.
• Marissa Pritchett ran 10:00.63 in the 3,000m, improving on her team-leading mark by 21 seconds.
