AUSTIN, Texas.– The University of Dayton track and field was represented by two athletes,
Daniela Peralta and
Casey Bogues, in the javelin throw at the Texas Relays Thursday and Friday. The athletes' second competition of the outdoor season gave them a chance to showcase their skills against some of the other top javelin throwers in the country.
Bogues and Peralta continue their 2025 campaign in a build-up to the A-10 championships and the NCAA championships, where Bogues was named as an honorable mention All-American last season.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Peralta competed in the B division of the event Thursday afternoon and threw 40.34m to improve on her mark from last weekend at EKU.
- Bogues threw in the A division on Friday and finished eighth with a mark of 46.22.
