FAIRFAX, Va.  – The University of Dayton women's rowing team participated in the George Mason Invitational this Sunday in Virginia.

The Flyers battled tough river conditions after the inclement weather throughout the Midwest and east this past week, and had little on-the-water practice time heading into what could be called a preview of the Atlantic 10 Championships with schools such as Saint Joseph's, Loyola Chicago, Dayton, and hosts George Mason competing.

Dayton will head south for the 2025 SIRA Championships on April 18-19 at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
