DAYTON – The University of Dayton women's rowing team will travel north to Eastern Michigan University this Saturday in the final warm-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships later this month.
The Flyers have already competed in four events during the spring season and have improved week-to-week against harder and harder competition. Dayton looks to gain some momentum this weekend in Ypsilanti, Mich. as it plans to race multiple boats in the 8+ and 4+ heats.
The races will take place at Ford Lake in Michigan, where the Flyers opened their fall campaign back on Oct. 26. The race schedule will feature a 1V8+ race at 10:40 a.m., a 2V8+ race at 11 a.m., and a 1V4+ race at 11:20 a.m.
"The team is excited to race against some fast competition this weekend. As we prepare for the Atlantic-10 Championships, each boat has been improving from practice to practice. We want to end the season on a high note."
