DAYTON – The University of Dayton men's tennis program will be well-represented by Kyle McNally and Mikkel Zinder at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-American Championships.
The event will take place on Sept. 20-28 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla. and feature some of the top collegiate tennis players in the country. Pre-qualifying rounds start on Saturday, Sept. 20 and continue into Sunday before qualifiers start on Monday.
Zinder will face Lukas Maskow, a junior at Santa Clara, at 9 a.m. on Saturday. At noon, McNally will play Francisco Llanes, a senior at South Florida.
This is McNally and Zinder's second time competing at the ITA All-Americans, as they both played in their freshman year in 2023. That year, they both went 1-1 in the event.
Last season, McNally was named the Atlantic 10's Most Outstanding Player and was joined by Zinder on the All-Atlantic 10 First Team.
Teammates Rishi Dore, Dylan Jaen, Kaia Mendibe, Andreas Nygaard, Alfons Ridstrom, Sturle Skigelstrand and Eric Suk will start their season at the James O'Connell Memorial Tournament on Sept. 26-28.
