DAYTON - The University of Dayton and the Red Scare, the official student organization for Dayton Flyer athletics, has announced a new attendance initiative for the 2026 spring semester. The Frequent Flyer Program, presented by Wright Brothers Aero, begins at the men's basketball team's next home game against Loyola-Chicago on Friday, Jan. 16.
Students attending five out of seven men's basketball Atlantic 10 games will receive a special edition Nike shirt, as well as be entered into a drawing to receive one of 10 $250 Visa gift cards.
Attendance will be tracked for all remaining home men's basketball games (Jan. 16, Jan. 27, Feb. 3, Feb. 15, Feb 21, Feb. 24 and March 6). Shirt recipients will be contacted and gift card winners will be notified the week of March 9th.
Student vouchers are on sale for $50. Buying a voucher gives access to claiming a student ticket before single-game tickets are released. While not guaranteed a ticket by simply buying the voucher, it gives a better chance at claiming a ticket early. A voucher is a one-time payment good for all remaining games. Vouchers are available for purchase all year.Â
Within the voucher process, students will be asked for a code, which is the applicant's University of Dayton email. If there are any issues or questions when buying the voucher, please refer to a video on the
Red Scare Instagram page that goes through the process step-by-step.Â
