Dayton Student-Athletes Recognized On A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll

The Flyers Had 218 Student-Athletes Honored This Past Year

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2026 Commissioner's Honor Roll on Tuesday and recognized 218 University of Dayton student-athletes for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the field of play.

Across all sports, the Flyers averaged a 3.3846 GPA this past spring and still holds a 3.3923 cumulative GPA across the board. Dayton has 298 student-athletes above a 3.0 and 161 above a 3.5 GPA for their career. On top of that, 46 UD student-athletes had a perfect 4.0 for the spring semester.

The Flyers have boasted over 200 A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipients over the past several years.

Designed to recognize excellence in the classroom, a student-athlete in an Atlantic 10-sponsored sport at a full member institution must have a combined fall and spring semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year to be selected for the Commissioner's Honor Roll. Both freshmen and graduate students are eligible to receive the award. In each of the last eight years, the league honored over 3,000 student-athletes per year and for the last three years.
