Box Score DAYTON – University of Dayton women's soccer senior Olivia Baca netted a goal just 14 seconds into the match to propel Dayton past Wright State, 2-1, at Baujan Field on Thursday night.
 
After a Wright State penalty kick goal tied the match in the 72nd minute, junior Laney Smith fired in the game winning goal against the cross-town rival in the 74th minute assisted by fellow junior Liv Genda and freshman Kamryn Hoffman.
 
Hoffman's assist was the first of her collegiate career, while Smith's goal was the first of her junior campaign.
 
The Flyers had five times the total shots of the Raiders, outpacing the visitors 20-4. UD had 11 shots on-goal compared to WSU's one, and also held a significant advantage in corners, 10-1.
