DAYTON, Ohio - The women's tennis team was defeated 5-2 by Butler at NCR Courts Tuesday in its final tune-up for the Atlantic 10 Championships. Carrie Trigilio and Megan Gray became the first Flyers of the spring to reach ten singles victories.

Trigilio tallied a three set win at #6 singles over Butler's Ashley Harrison, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0(8). She bumped her spring record up to 10-6. Sophomore Megan Gray earned UD's second point with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win at #4 singles over Shaden Dowiatt. Gray ended the spring regular season with a 10-7 record.

The Flyers bring a 7-10 spring record into the tournament, which begins April 21 in Monroeville, PA. Tournaments pairings have not yet been released.
