DAYTON, Ohio - The Dayton softball team is set to open up the Atlantic 10 portion of the season against Saint Louis on Saturday. The Flyers will take on the Billikens in two back-to-back games starting at 1 p.m. ET.

Dayton enters the twinbill 3-9 overall, while Saint Louis opens with a 12-16 record and a 0-0 slate in Atlantic 10 play.

Christine Eggers is leading the Flyers in offense so far this season. The junior is 14-for-39 on the season for a .487 slugging percentage. Eggers also leads the team with seven runs scored and six walks.

After 14 straight road games UD will return home to open the team's first game at UD Softball Stadium on Tuesday, March 27. Dayton will take on IUPUI in doubleheader action that will begin at 2 p.m. ET.
