UD VOLLEYBALL ALUM KORTNEY NORRIS CONTINUES COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL PURSUIT NOW AS AN ASSISTANT AT MARYLAND

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Dayton volleyball alumna Kortney Norris has decided to pursue a career as a collegiate volleyball coach. It was announced earlier last week.

Norris competed for three years at UD averaging 2.33 kills per set for the Red and Blue. She finished with a .957 career receive percentage.

Under head coach Kelly Sheffield, Norris served as a student assistant coach helping mentor a talented Flyer team to the NCAA Tournament in 2009. She took home the R. Elaine Dreidame Award given to a student-athlete that embodies the "team" philosophy.
