DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton volleyball team will debut their 2009 squad on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Frericks Center in their annual Red/Blue Scrimmage.

Saturday's match will take place at 5:00 p.m. with the Flyers being split into two teams for a best-of-three scrimmage. Admission to Saturday's match along with every home match this season at the Frericks Center will be free of charge.

Last season Dayton made its fifth trip to the NCAA Tournament and earned the program's first at-large bid into the Big Dance. In addition, Redshirt junior middle blocker Lindsay Fletemier was named Honorable Mention All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
