DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women’s soccer team opened up Atlantic 10 play with a 4-0 win over visiting Fordham Friday night at Baujan Field.
Senior Jerica DeWolfe got Senior Night started right with a goal in the second minute off the assist from fellow senior Kelly Blumenschein.
Blumenschein notched a goal of her own in the 10th minute of the match on an assist from freshman Juliana Libertin.
Sophomore Colleen Williams scored her ninth goal of the season in the 35th minute with an assist from junior Kelsey Owen.
Sophomore Alexis Garcia added a goal in the second half getting the assist from junior Josie Grant.
Senior Lisa Rodgers had a save in goal to post her fifth shutout this season. She is 6-0-0 for the Flyers.
Dayton, 9-2-0 and 1-0-0 in A-10 action, hosts La Salle this Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. at Baujan Field. Admission is free to all UD home regular season games.
