Karissa Kaminski have been named the
Ohio's CollegeAdvantage Student-Athletes of the Week. These awards are for contests held Sept. 22-28.
Schondelmyer became just the second Flyer in program history to throw for five touchdowns in a half, and first since 2019, when led Dayton to a 48-14 win over Stetson Saturday. The first-year starter had a career day with highs in completions (19), completion percentage (82.6%), yards (333), touchdowns (5), and has yet to turn the ball over this season. His five TD's is tied for the fourth-most in a single game in the FCS this season and his passing efficiency rating of 275.965 is the fifth-best in the country this year. The Brookville, Ohio, native was named PFL Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday.
Kaminski, who is from Howards Grove, Wis., led the team with 38 digs and four aces against the Wildcats, averaging 4.75 digs/set. She is first in the A-10 in digs in conference play (38) and second in digs/set (4.75). Overall, she is third in the conference in aces per set (.53), leads the conference in overall digs/set (4.36), and is second in overall digs (205).
