POSTGAME QUOTES
Head Coach Jim Jabir
On becoming the second all-time winningest coach in UD women’s basketball history
“It is a tribute to our coaches and players that we have accumulated that number of wins. There is a really good tradition here and I’m just happy that our program is successful.”

On the slow start to the game
“Our slow start was because of our lack of execution and focus. We were supposed to switch on guard-to-guard screens and we just left people open. That’s not acceptable, but we were able to make adjustments and get ourselves back together. In the second half we played like we’re capable of.”

On Kari Daugherty hitting four treys in the second half
“Kari is capable of doing that. They gave her looks and she didn’t hesitate, which was great. She nailed them. When we’re running like that and getting good looks like that, we have to make them. That was a big part of getting that separation from Fordham.”

On Aundrea Lindsey’s career-high assist performance against the Rams
“The assists that Puna accrued were great, but I felt that overall, she played the best game she’s ever played in a Dayton uniform and I was really proud to see her do that. I know she is capable; she let the game come to her and she played very well. I was happy to see that for her and for us.”
