PEORIA, Ill. – Senior Katie Gallagher shot rounds of 79 and 78 as the University of Dayton Flyers finished the first two rounds of the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic in sixth place.

Gallagher ranks in a tie for 18th after carding a 157 overall score.

UD as a team shot a 322 in round one and a 320 in the second round.

Senior Katie Dempsey continued her strong spring shooting an 82 in round one and a team-best 77 in the second round. Dempsey is tied for 21st among individuals.

Sophomore Clara Ang added an 83 in the first round and an 81 in the second round. Junior Julie Pouliquen was one stroke behind Ang recording an 81 in round one and an 84 in the second round.

Senior Cari DeAngelis enjoyed a strong day firing an 80 in round one and an 86 in the second round. Sophomore Megan Keating rounded out the scoring with an 88 in round one and an 85 in the second round.

The Hotels at Grand Prairie Collegiate Classic will conclude Tuesday with one round of play beginning at 8:30 a.m. at WeaverRidge Golf Club.
