DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton women’s softball team will hold its annual softball alumni reunion and golf outing Oct. 1-3, 2010.

Friday, Oct. 1 will consist of an open practice at UD Softball Stadium that will start at 5:00 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m. The golf outing on Oct. 2 will take place at Pipestone Golf Club in Miamisburg, Ohio with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The $100 per person fee includes breakfast, lunch, beverages and 18 holes of golf with a cart.

The weekend will close with an intrasquad scrimmage, followed by an alumni scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 3.  The 2010-11 team will challenge each other with first pitch starting at 11:00 a.m. The scrimmage against UD Softball Alumni will begin at 1:00 p.m. An alumni and parent reception will follow the two scrimmages.

The Flyer Softball squad would like to welcome all friends, family, and fans of the program to join them during this annual event.
