DAYTON, Ohio - TopDrawerSoccer compiled a list of “College Players to Watch” Men’s Top 20 for each conference and the University of Dayton had the most selected in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Four members of the team were selected to the list, including senior defender Tommy Watkins, junior defender Jack Pearson, junior goalkeeper Tyler Picard and freshman midfielder Marlon Duran. Dayton’s four selections led Saint Louis who netted three picks.

Watkins was named to the A-10 Preseason All-Conference Team. Duran, who was the only freshman selected in the TopDrawerSoccer A-10 Top 20, was also named to the A-10 Preseason All-Rookie Team.

Dayton travels to Cincinnati to open the regular season in one week on Wednesday, Sept. 1 against the Bearcats at 7 p.m. The Flyers will then host IPFW in their home opener on Sept. 3 at 8:00 p.m. as part of the Dayton Marriott Classic at Baujan Field.
