After a two-week layoff, the University of Dayton Flyers Women’s Golf team is back in action at the 2010 Chicago State Classic.
The two day event will be held Monday, Sept. 20 and Tuesday, Sept. 21 from the Lost Marsh Golf Course in Hammond, Ind.
The third-annual Chicago State Cougar Classic will feature its largest field to date with 14 NCAA Division I schools that represent six different conferences (Great West, Horizon League, Southwestern Athletic, Ohio Valley, Summit League and Colonial Athletic Association).
The tee times for the both days will be a shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
UD is coming off a second place finish in their first tournament of the season. A second round 76 from junior Clara Ang helped the Flyers to their strong finish.
However, the Flyers will have a bit of a different look heading to the CSU Classic. UD will send Julie Pouliquen, Kelly Coakley, Cheryl Ang, Erin Peavy, Heather Jorgensen and Megan Keating to compete at the event.
Pouliquen, Peavy and Coakley will be making their fall season debuts.
Dayton played in the inaugural event two years ago coming away with a second place finish.
