FLYERS HOST MOREHEAD STATE ON WEDNESDAY

DAYTON, Ohio – The University of Dayton Flyers will open a six-game homestand this weekend when they host the Morehead State Eagles on Wednesday in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.

Dayton is 13-19 on the year and is coming off of a split against the Saint Louis Billikens in Atlantic 10 action. Isaacson also set a new personal best with six strikeouts.

Lauren Nacke leads the team with a .371 average and 10 home runs. The 10 home runs she has hit this season ties her career best that she set during her rookie campaign for the Flyers. Kathleen Maloof is hitting .356 and is in second on the team with 27 RBI.

Isaacson leads UD with eight wins on the year. She has a 4.03 ERA and has 40 strikeouts in 90.1 innings pitched. Junior Sarah Wedel has a 3.86 ERA and has pitched three complete games.

The Eagles (12-27) are coming off three consecutive losses at UT Martin last weekend. MSU showed some improvement in the pitching area however as they held a powerful UTM team to just one run in game one.
