FLYER CROSS COUNTRY 2012-13 RECRUITING CLASS UNVEILED

University of Dayton Head Coach Rich Davis has announced his 2012-13 men's cross country recruiting class. It includes Andrew Eckrich, Matthew Krakora, Antony Parnigoni and Ryam Polman.

"The 2012 recruiting class consists of four quality individuals who will complement the 2011 squad, which returns every runner," said Davis.

The 2011 team made Flyer men’s cross country history by being the first Dayton team to have five men run under 26:00 for 8K at the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championships.

"With inherited leadership from the upperclassmen and the influx of this talent, our team’s goal of running five men under 25:00 for 8K at the 2012 A-10 Championships becomes viable quest," said Davis. "Together, we will be working to improve upon the team’s fourth-place finish in each of the two previous years.  Attaining the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship would make the Flyers the first “cross country only” team in NCAA D-I history to win its Conference title."
