DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton softball team (13-18, 1-5 A-10) hosts the Saint Louis Billikens at Noon on Saturday in an Atlantic 10 doubleheader. Dayton will then face Wright State on Monday at 3 p.m. in Fairborn, Ohio.

Dayton went 1-3 last weekend after splitting with Rhode Island and being swept by UMass.

Dayton is led by Senior Brandy Brown who is hitting .344 and has six doubles for UD. Sophomore Alysha Isaacson is hitting .333 and has one double and three home runs. Junior Kathleen Maloof has six doubles and seven home runs for a .330 average.

Freshman Kayla English (4-5) leads UD in the circle. English has struck out 67 in 67.1 innings pitched. She also had a 2.91 ERA. Senior Sarah Wedel is 5-3 this season for the Flyers.

The Billikens are 16-18 and 3-3 in the Atlantic 10 this year. Jessica Buschjost is hitting .306 and has three doubles and seven RBI. Alyson Brand has 18 RBI with three home runs and four doubles. Hannah Huebbe has a 3.12 ERA and is 9-7 for SLU. She has 70 strikeouts on the year. Kelcie Matesa has a 3.66 ERA and is 4-5 with 69 strikeouts.

Wright State is 14-18 this season. The Raiders are led by Kacie Rapshus who is hitting .326 with a team-leading eight doubles. Colleen Schneider leads WSU with 15 RBIS, she has doubled three times, homered three times and tripled twice. Krystian DeWitt has a 2.88 ERA and a 10-16 record. She has 128 strikeouts in 162.2 innings pitched.
