Ball State Invite Results

MUNCIE --The University of Dayton's men's tennis team participated this weekend in the 31st annual Ball State Fall Invitational.  The doubles team of senior Robert Salcedo and sophomore Devin Jones turned in the best Flyer performance, reaching the finals of the consolation bracket of the A Flight Doubles.

Salcedo and Jones knocked off teams from Butler and Indiana State before dropping an 8-3 decision to another team from Butler.  Jones also added a win in the B Flight Singles.

Other multiple winners for UD were junior Andrew Hanley and sophomore Colin Bernier.  Hanley had two consolation singles wins.  Bernier had a win in singles, and teaming with sophomore josh Malyon, a win in doubles.

The Flyers will play next at the Tennessee Invitational Oct. 12-14.
