WOMEN'S SOCCER CLOSES OUT REGULAR SEASON ON THE ROAD

Dayton Makes Trip To Philadelphia For Matches Against La Salle and Saint Joseph's

The University of Dayton women's soccer team hits the road for the final time this regular season, as they attempt to maintain a perfect Atlantic 10 conference record.  They will look to keep up the momentum heading into the conference tournament, where they have already clinched the number one seed.  The Flyers will square off against the LaSalle Explorers on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.  They will then travel to Saint Joseph's to take on the Hawks on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m.

COMING OFF A HISTORIC VICTORY
Dayton not only maintained their 10-game unbeaten streak, and preserved their perfect conference record, they also won their 200th game at Baujan Field.  The Flyers now hold a 200-57-19 record at home. 

FLYER NOTES 
• UD leads the Atlantic 10 in shots (302) and points (109). The Flyers are also first in the conference in goals scored (37), second in assists (35) and second in shutouts (8).
• Sophomore Ashley Campbell is second in the league in points (28) and tied for first in goals (13), while senior Juliana Libertin is first in assists (13). Freshman goalkeeper Elizabeth James is in the league lead for shutouts (7/1).
Juliana Libertin's 40 career assists are the best for active players in the NCAA.
• The Flyers have earned six A-10 weekly honors this season: two Player of the Week honors each for Ashley Campbell, and senior Steph Emery; while Elizabeth James earned Rookie of the Week twice.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
La Salle comes into this game with an 11-4-2 overall record, and a 3-2-1 conference record.  The Explorers are coming off a 1-1 weekend of A-10 play on the road, falling to St. Bonaventure 2-1, but coming back and defeating Duquesne 3-0.  The Explorers are led by junior forward Kelsey Haycook who currently leads the A-10 in points per game with 1.94.  La Salle's goalkeeper, redshirt sophomore Jessica Wiggins also leads the A-10 in goals against average, as well as save percentage. 

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
The Hawks are currently 6-7-3 on the season, with a 2-3-1 conference mark.  They are led by senior forward Mo Hawkins and freshman forward Emily Gingrich, who both have eight goals on the year, which is good for a tie for eighth place in the A-10.

SERIES INFO
Dayton holds a 16-3 record against La Salle.  They last met in 2011, where Dayton lost  2-1 on the road.  Dayton also holds a 13-1-1 record against Saint Joseph's.  UD last played the Hawks in 2011 as well, where they were victorious 1-0.

UP NEXT
The Flyers will begin A-10 tournament play in Richmond, Va.  on Thursday, Nov. 7.  The Flyers have already clinched the number one seed.

KICKIN' CAMPBELL
Sophomore Ashley Campbell is tied for the lead in the league with 13 goals, which is also 17th best in the NCAA. She is also 21st, nationally, in points per game. She was awarded Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season during the week of Sept. 23-29. In Dayton's first conference matchup against Richmond, Campbell had her first collegiate hat trick, scoring three goals and registering a career-high six points in the game.

LIBERTIN'S LOVE
Senior Juliana Libertin leads the A-10 and is second in the NCAA with 13 assists. Her 40 career assists are the best for active players in the NCAA. Sophomore Nicole Waters is second in the A-10 and is 5th in NCAA with 11 assists.

FLYER SUCCESS 
The Flyers made NCAA Tournament Appearances in 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2011, advancing to the second round in both 2009 and 2010 and to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001. Mike Tucker's Dayton Flyer women's soccer team hasn't lost an A-10 conference home match in over six years (28-0-2). The last A-10 home loss was Oct. 21, 2007.

DAYTON'S A-10 BACKGROUND 
• Dayton has won the A-10 Tournament Championship more than any other team in the conference: eight times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011). 
• UD has also won or shared 10 Atlantic 10 Regular Season titles (1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010). The next closest is Massachusetts with five. 
• Dayton has reached the finals 10 times and is 8-2 in the championship game.
